Google正式推出的桌面搜索软件Google Desktop，原测试代号为Puffin，仅450K，但功能强大。
它和Web Search结合在一起，安装完毕后可通过浏览器在Google主页上看到Desktop项目，不过现在只能在英文版Google主页上看到，中文版的Google主页还没有。
软件会利用电脑的空闲扫描硬盘上的文件，建立索引，软件可搜索Outlook，Word，Excel，Powerpoint，AIM以及IE的缓存，中文支持也不错。 Google每次推出的东西都好有意思，而且很强大，呵呵，我喜欢！！
WordPress的多用户版WordPress MU出来了。支持多用户，基本功能和单用户版一样。 安装时前要开启Apache的mod_rewrite模块，然后将wp-blogs,wp-content/smarty-cache文件夹设为可写，配置一下wp-config.php的数据库连接就可以了。 这个blog只有我一个人在写，所以我不是很需要，还是比较期待WordPress 1.3版。

真是无语了，连php都可以集成到VS里。果然是没有做不到的，只有想不到的。 可惜不是开源的软件，只能试用30天。
测试一下Blog发布工具：WB Editor 。这是一个由一个加拿大的中国blogger开发的一个软件。
运行需.NET Framework的支持，而且好像只能在1.1下，上次由于我的机器装了.NET Framework 2.0 Beta，软件就不能运行。记得上次在软件开发者的Blog上看到说连接WP时会有问题，需对xmprpc.php进行一些修改。不过现在上不去他的网站，先发这篇试试再说。

news.google.com 呵呵，Google每推出一个东西，国内就一片呼声“狼来了”，先是搜索，然后是邮箱，现在是新闻。据说接下来是IM……我倒是有点期待，虽然用处不大，而且也觉得不太可能，主要是比较喜欢google。
现在和Gmail相关的东西有好多
GmailFS能将Gmail当成一个文件系统，Python的libgmail能将Gmail做成一个ftpserver,而Gallina则可将Gmail做成一个blog系统，呵呵，真是没有做不到的，只有想不到的！
昨天得到了一个gmail邮箱，呵呵，谢谢MVPcn的clarencechou给我发邀请。
